  4. Brilliant! Thanks for uploading this, I've just modded mine and your video made it so simple.

    All I would say is that the sanding of the new pipe took me about 45 minutes and I sanded just enough to remove the silver plating and reveal the brass underneath. Once all the silver was uniformly removed, the pipe just slid into place perfectly and NO leaks!!
    Wow! What a steamer I have now - it's intense!

  9. The sandpaper is required because the rancilio steampipe is a little bit wider. It doesn´t take many minutes make it fit ok.You don´t have to do any drilling at all.

  11. No leaks at all, due to the modification.
    The only problem I´ve discovered is that the steampipe loose the movability compared to the original steampipe, and get stuck in one position.
