I finally invested in (my second) espresso machine. I'm quite the coffee addict; my usual order at any coffee shop is a caffé e latte (also known as a "Latte" in the United States). The .50 I pay each morning for a 16oz drink is beginning to hurt my pocket quite a bit. I don't spend that much at coffee shops any more. The downside of course, is that I drink way too much espresso!

I was wondering from the old town into the main commercial area of Nice and happened across a Mc Cafe. Never seen one of these before and it is decorated like a traditional coffee shop... with a real coffee machine and everything.

I had an iced coffee, and it wasn't bad.... wasn't bad..

My first espresso machine and couldn't be happier. Easy to use, easy to clean. Parts seem very sturdy, workmanship appears very good, nothing cheap about it at all. Brews quickly and with little fuss. Like most, I ended up taking the rubber cover off the steamer and works just fine. I have a latte fetish and I can say without a doubt, this is as good if not better than Starbucks. I bought espresso roast at my local grocer and can finally say goodbye to my weekly visits to Starbucks. Highly recommended.

Latte Anytime I want without leaving my pajamas!

I had just recently started shopping around for a cappuccino maker. I expected to have to pay a lot more for one, but after seeing the price and reading the user reviews I decided to go for it. I could not be happier. I made sure to read all the instructions carefully before making my first latte. My expectations for success the first time were low. I was pleasantly surprised at my first-try results. It tasted every bit as good as my favorite Starbucks latte. (I did use Starbucks Dark Roast Espresso.) I followed the advise of other reviewers and removed the rubber tip from the steaming wand. I left the wand in until the pitcher got nice and warm, altering immersion level as I went, and was able to make a beautiful, thick foam with no problems. The machine is compact enough that it takes up very little space on my counter top and is indeed very sturdy. My one small complaint would be that the carafe dribbles when I'm pouring the espresso into my cup. I have to do this over the sink to avoid counter top spills. Other than that, I love it. I will be gifting this to at least two people whose birthdays are coming up.

Perfect espresso maker

I am an electronic idiot and even I can use this machine. It make the perfect cappuccino. It takes some practice to get the steamed milk frothy, but once you got it, it's easy. I didn't think I would like home-brewed cappuccino this much, but it's totally great. I highly recommend this to a person or couple. The cleanup and rebrew takes some time if you have company, but it's not too bad.

This is a nice machine that I got via eBay. When I saw this on the web, I thought it was much smaller! Alas, it is helping me to reduce the espresso making time from around 7~10 minutes per cup to less then 1 minute and the espresso that it makes is much more consistent than what I used to make before (using a semi-automatic DeLonghi one). Yes, I hope I will be using this one for at least 2~4 years. I am happy!

It's a cold and rainy day in Sydney today. Despite the weather work has kept me busy.

I went out and downstairs for my afternoon break. Now instead of taking it back upstairs, like I usually do, I decided to loiter for a couple of minutes. Whilst standing at the laneway kiosk I took note of this machine. This very machine (and it's two predessors, in this very same spot), has made me hundreds of cuppas over the last decade. I decided to give it some credit - many of my daytime musings have been over a cuppa that was produced in this spot. I drink at least two - but on average three a day. I like a good coffee - the where and when it's served is just as important as how it tastes - and impacts on your senses.
