to enlighten you guys about the noise factor- yes, it's not as though the one drinking the coffee is trying to sleep, but oftentimes its night and the coffedrinker has to stay up without waking up everyone else.
I love mine like a child. It's literally perfect in every way, for me. The only downside to having it in the house is that I have become such a hardcore caffeine junkie. Oh well, at least I have great coffee.
@abshih I had a Tassimo (as well as a Dulce Gusto) and the Tassimo stopped working after about 5 months. Even though it was under warranty, Tassimo wouldn't fix it. Bad customer service and not even the option to brew your own coffee.
Nespresso is better than keurig. The machine is more reliable and I can make better lattes and coffee without worrying if the machine would turn off by itself or if the pump not working after a month.
my b70 was a lemon. A month in and the machine would turn off by itself when brewing.Another problem it would say its brewing but no coffee/water would come out. But Keurigs sending me another. Hopefully its not a repetitive problem. Im pretty sure i'm not the only person with the same problems with these machines. The pumps are pretty bad
I work at work not in a coffee shop. If you want a single cup of good coffee in a hurry and be able to pick from an endless variety then this thing is incredible.
they need to make a 1500W version of the B30 Mini. The mini has a superior design to their larger ones. The footprint of the mini is much more reasonable and it is the most stylish in the family. It is the most simple to use and loads just enough water for one cup so I do not have to fill that big annoying reservoir. The only problem with the Mini is that it is only 700W and takes 2-3 minutes to make a cup of coffee.
but it takes at least twice as long to make a cup of coffee.
A first gen special edition. They've improved on the vibrating with the second gen. Unfortunately my first gen wore out and the ring covering the needle came loose. :(
are you kidding me?! this is anything but loud..if you want loud go work in a coffee shop like i do and then youll see just how quiet this is. also the coffee taste slightly different but it doenst taste bad, its still good. If you want espresso go buy an ESPRESSO machine not a coffee machine
We have one of these things at work. Not only is it very noisy, it makes terrible coffee. The bitterness in coffee is caused by heat during the brewing process, as any drinker of cappuccino or espresso can tell you.
If you want some good coffee, make cold-brew coffee concentrate from freshly ground beans, prefferably recently roasted. Add the concentrate to a cup of hot water for hot coffee, cold water, or ice for a nice iced cappuccino without a trace of bitterness.

ReplyDeleteDo a YouTube search for "Aeropress Lockergnome" for a video of a much better coffeemaker. And way cheaper than this overpriced, noisy thing.
ReplyDeletejust do this instead-> @rhodiejodie
ReplyDeleteIf u think that's noisy, go watch a Tassimo brew...
ReplyDeleteL A Z Y ! -> move to SEATTLE

ReplyDeleteThis thing has changed my life.
ReplyDeleteThis thing is no louder than any other coffee machine ive had ya'll are crazy
I've used both the mini and Elite. The mini is nice because, you can set it and forget it.
ReplyDeleteQUESTION:
Once you turn the Elite on, does the blue ligt blink right away or do you have to wait for it to warm up first.
mine wont brew it turns off after three minutes....figures what a waste of money
ReplyDelete@audisport
ReplyDeleteMy Rancilio Siliva beats the crap out of your Nespresso. And where do you buy your coffee? Oh, yeah...you buy "capsules" online.

ReplyDeleteI bought a K-Pad to quiet my Keurig's vibration noise. I found it on eBay for about $10.... works like a charm!

ReplyDeleteYep, I agree. Not even considered as a dealbreaker when I evaluate a coffee machine. The noise to give you that wake up jolt should be a bonus.
ReplyDeletewhats with people complaining about the noise it makes, not like you have it on all night long while you're trying to sleep lol,

Thank you. I was looking for a video that showed how much noise it made.
